A PhD student from our team – MSc Eng. Stanisław Oliszewski will undertake a two-month (01.10 – 30.11.2025) internship at KTH Stockholm (a university part of the UNITE network) under the supervision of Professor Staffan Norrga. During the visit, Mr. Stanisław will conduct research on fatigue failures of transistors used in power converters. The internship is funded by the Erasmus program.

During the internship, the PhD student will get acquainted with the activities of the Power Electronics Laboratory at KTH Stockholm, which is part of the European Centre for Power Electronics. The main research interests of the Swedish team include high-voltage power electronics and the application of wide-bandgap semiconductors. The laboratory is equipped to test systems operating at temperatures above 600 °C and power levels up to several MVA, enabling advanced research on the reliability and durability of power electronic components.
