The LVII Symposium on Electrical Machines SME 2025 is the 57th edition of an international and nationwide event integrating scientific-research, academic, and industrial communities related to electric machines and drives. Symposium participants include representatives from technical universities, research institutes, and companies developing modern technologies in electromechanics, mechatronics, and drive systems.

During the conference, members of our team consisting of:

presented research results concerning rolling bearing faults in permanent magnet motors. The presentation titled "Diagnostics of rolling bearing faults using Kohonen maps in field-oriented control of PMSM motor" presented an approach to technical condition monitoring of machines and the potential application of unsupervised learning methods in electric drive diagnostics.

Participation in the conference was an opportunity for our team not only to exchange experiences, establish new contacts, and discuss with experts, but also to visit the diagnostic laboratories of the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Cracow University of Technology, where research stations and infrastructure used in the development of electric machines and diagnostics were demonstrated.
