Researchers from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and the Faculty of Geoengineering, Mining and Geology will conduct studies funded by the European Union under GA no 101101961 - HECATE.
The aim of the HECATE project is to develop a hybrid-electric aircraft capable of servicing regional air connections in Europe. The project focuses on the development of new electric drive technologies, thermal management solutions, and machine diagnostics that will contribute to achieving climate neutrality in the aviation industry by 2050.
