Biographical Note:

Dr. Eng. Mateusz Krzysztofiak is a graduate of Wrocław University of Science and Technology, where he earned both his engineering and master’s degrees in Automation and Robotics. In 2024, he defended his PhD with distinction, titled “Mathematical Modeling Methods in Fault Diagnostics of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors (PMSM)”. He currently works as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, where he is involved in scientific research and teaching.

His professional experience includes scientific research, teaching, and technical engineering activities. He has been a scholarship holder in projects funded by the National Science Centre (NCN) under the OPUS program and is currently leading a research project funded by the NCN Preludium grant. His specialization includes modeling and diagnostics of electric motor faults, widely applied in modern vehicles and industrial systems.

Project Participation:
  • NCN Grant: Modeling and diagnostics of rolling bearings used in permanent magnet synchronous motors, 2024–2026. Funded by the National Science Centre under the PRELUDIUM 23 program. Role: Principal Investigator. Project in progress.
  • EU Project: Hybrid ElectriC regional Aircraft distribution TEchnologies (HECATE), 2023–2025. Funded by the European Union under grant 101101961—HECATE. Role: Researcher. Project in progress.
  • NCN Grant: Hybrid methods for fault detection in permanent magnet synchronous motors in vector-controlled electric drives using analytical and neural computations, 2018–2021. Funded by the National Science Centre under the OPUS 14 program. Role: Scholarship holder. Project completed.
